Deskspace is a very nice software and i would suggest it. It isn't as customizable as CubeDesktop but it is better in that the trial is much longer than CubeDesktop.

If your looking to buy this software i would suggest it.

Nice Appearance
Helps prevent cluttering
Lets you organize between 6 desktops
Customizabl e

Worst:

Trial
Might mess up your desktop icons
